ELECTRIC CONDENSATE DRAINS
Anyone
who owns an air compressor knows that when functioning
properly, it generates a great deal of water condensation
that must be captured and disposed of properly.
Solutions to this problem vary widely, with one of the most
cost-effective being the Atlas Copco WD 80 drain valve which
operates on its own, automatically draining the condensate
that collects in air receivers or any other vessel.
Atlas Copco’s EWD drains are all controlled
electronically resulting in the lowest possible consumption
of energy used to eliminate the water condensate.
Some condensate is more aggressive because of the lubricants
used in the compressor, requiring the use of a hardened
coating which is available as an option of Atlas
Copco’s drains.
TIMED ELECTRIC TRAPS
These intelligent drains watch as the condensate
collects liquid via the use of electronic level sensors, and
then they evacuate the moisture only when necessary, which
avoids wasting compressed air like a timed electric trap
does.
HTE Compressed Air Solutions supplies all the ancillary
equipment required to operate a safe and reliable compressed
air system in
Kansas, Missouri, and
Illinois.
