MACHINE SAFETY

Manufacturing plants are no longer unsafe places to work, some achieving 25 years worked with no lost time accidents, thanks in part to the focus Pilz has on making manufacturing a safe industry.

During the first decade of the factory automation revolution in the 1960's, Pilz led the way in safety with safety relays, two-hand control relays, and the first safety control system.  They followed that up with the first safety PLC in the '70's, and then the critically important E-Stop relay in the 80's.  Since that time, Pilz has delivered more than a dozen significant safety advancements that today's control systems designers take for granted.
